“Metro Chronicles thru the Lenz”
The edition of this series showcased the making of Hyderabad Metro Rail thru the lenz of TRAFFIC POLICE OF HYDERABAD & CYBERABAD.
There were approximately 100 photographs on display which depicted the construction activity of Hyderabad Metro Rail Project Traffic Police from Hyderabad & Cyberabad from the city participated with great enthusiasm and sent the pictures which were up on display.
s Mr. C V Anand, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Cyberabad, s Mr. Jitender, IPS, Additional Commissioner of Police, Traffic, Hyderabad, s Mr. Avinash Mohanty, IPS, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Traffic, Cyberabad, s Mr. Teja, Film Director along with upcoming Telugu movie “Hora Hori” team, & s Mr. V B Gadgil, Chief Executive & Managing Director, L&T Metro Rail (Hyderabad) Limited, inaugurated the photo exhibition.
After the inauguration, Mr. Gadgil stated, “It is indeed very heartening to see the traffic police of Hyderabad & Cyberabad contribute photographs of the ongoing Metro Rail Project They have always been very supportive of this project and without their support the project would not have achieved significant milestones. ”
About Metro Chronicles thru the Lenz:
Hyderabad has a rich history and it has taught that change is the only thing which is constant To chronicle the change which has taken through the 400 years of history we have called the denizens of Hyderabad to come forward and share what they have taken through their lens which is for posterity.
This is being done in association with the Muse Art Gallery. The denizens will send the photographs of all the changes which they see, have seen and will see upto the commissioning of the complete project These photographs will be on display at the Muse Art Gallery. This activity started on 21st September 2013 and will continue on a quarterly basis till the commissioning of the complete project
From every exhibition about 10 pictures will be selected by eminent photographers of the city and will be displayed in the Hyderabad Metro Rail Museum.
