Namrata Shirodkar inaugurates Atrium Galleria - An Art Exhibition by Mr Rangoli Garg at Inorbit Mall, Hyderabad
A spectacular art show titled ‘Atrium Galleria’ witnessed its opening today at Inorbit Mall. The Art Exhibition was inaugurated by none other than famous Bollywood actress Namratha Shirodkar and Mr Vijay Bhatia, Centre Head, Inorbit Mall. Namratha interacted with artists and browsed through paintings and photographs put together by these five talented artist.
Speaking on the occasion Namratha said, This is a novel initiative by Inorbit of hosting an exhibition in a mall and taking art closer to people, while giving an opportunity to artists to exhibit their works to a wider audience. I am a great enthusiast and fond of art. Mr Vijay Bhatia said, by hosting an exhibition at Inorbit, we are providing a platform for these artists, while ensuring an wholesome experience for the visitors to the mall.
Atrium Galleria will be on for public viewing till 13th September. It showcases the artwork of six renowned artists. These artists are either photographers or painters and have beautifully etched the tale of India through their art work. Artists include names like Ms Rangoli Garg, Ms Anuradha Thakur, Mr Satheesh Kanna, MrVijit Pillai and Ms Lona Logan.Inorbit Mall has brought them all together to beautifully interpret their thought and inspiration of the country we live in – the pride, the history, the aura , the beauty and the people of India on a canvas.
Lona Logan, an Australian photographer will present ‘India Juxtapose’ - an amalgamation of vintage pictures of Indian people and places of an era gone by. She has been fascinated by India and has lot to credit this country for. She has beautifully captured India and it’s people which she refers to as ‘Fieldtrip of life. ’Rangoli Garg on the other hand will present paintings depicting the Indian girl who plays and hides in her beautiful home as her potentials wait to be fully sought. Anuradha Thakur through her paintings will revive the life of a tribal people and has sensitively brought out simplicity, transparency and contentment in their lifeon her canvas. Satheesh Kanna has depicted his internal & external experience through his works known as “The Banaras [Varanasi] Series of Paintings”, a 5 year long journey through bold brush strokes. Vijit Pillai photographs is his interpretation of his journey into the expanding realm of New Media Art through the use of textures, filters, patterns and sophisticated techniques reproduced in exclusive or limited edition canvasses.
Besides this, there are various other fun activities for kids as well like painting competition for both kids and parents, clay modelling, live painting at the atrium of the mall.
