Silk Mark Organization of India 10 Years Completion Press Meet

It is required to put continuous efforts for our Silk industry to match with the international standards. The consumers, traders & mostly manufacturers have to come together in enhancing t e quality standards apart from other important parameters like price, timely service. In this ongoing journey of a decade in service of the nation to build strong base for silk industry, Silk Mark has more than 2600 members across the country, serving the silk admirers with pure and quality silks. Silk Mark has continuously put efforts to create awareness among the people by way of providing them with opportunity to know many varieties and types of silks from across the country by conducting Silk Mark Expos throughout the country.

To mark the occasion of 10th anniversary of Silk Mark, Hyderabad chapter is organizing various cultural programmes to entertain the consumer simultaneously educating them on our Indian silks;

• Fashion Show displaying specialty of Indian Silks. Conducting Srimathi Silk Mark pageant for Silk loving married women aged between 22years and 40 years. This Event by and large has an impact towards establishing the awareness on Silk Mark.
• Auditions will be held on 13th September 2014 to select the participants for future levels of selection process. Srimathi Silk Mark - 2014 Hyderabad will be judged on parameters like appearance in traditional silk dress, knowledge on importance of silk and Silk Mark, apart from general appeal. • Painting and essay competition for the school going children aged 1-3 painting with subject "I love silk" and for 4-6 years old essay competition the subject is "Importance of silks and Silk Mark".
• Fashion Show and grand finale of Srimathi Silk Mark will be organized on 26th September 2014 will be organized displaying varieties of Indian silks.

Popular Silk Mark Expo - 2014 Hyderabad will be at Shilpakala Vedika, Near Cyber Towers, Madhapur organized from 23-29th September 2014 coinciding with the Grand festivals of Dusserah and Diwali. The expo will be showcasing many varieties and colours of silk products representing 25 silk clusters from more than 15 silk producing states from north to south and from East to West
