Hyderabad Literary Festival 2016 (Day 1)
The Hyderabad Literary Festival (HLF) is a prestigious, international event organized every year in the month of January. Started in 2010, the festival draws over a 150 writers, artistes, scholars, publishers from India and abroad each year.
HLF is a multilingual and multidisciplinary event and its programme includes conversations with authors, readings, panel discussions, workshops, book launches, cultural programmes, and activities for college students and school children. Inviting a foreign country as a guest nation, paying special attention to Indian languages, highlighting the need to sustain linguistic diversity, making the festival inclusive and accessible to people with different abilities are some of the distinctive features of HLF.
Entry to the festival is free and open to all.
