Health Minister Laxma Reddy flagged off COWE Walkathon, Hyderabad
Confederation of Women Entrepreneurs of India(COWE), the home grown body of Women Entrepreneurs which has expanded to many states in India now conducts a walk, COWE Walkathon for Women's Health and Fitness here in city at KBR Park on Sunday 6th March at 6am.
It is organized in association with LivLife, only hospital in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana to be accredited as an "International Centre of Excellence in Bariatric Surgery" by the Surgical Review Corporation, USA. LivLife Hospitals has helped thousands of patients collectively lose more than 70,000 kgs of excess weight.
Dr. Ch. Laxma Reddy. Health Minister, Govt of Telangana will be the Chief Guest and flag off the walk.
Shilpa Reddy, Fashion Designer, Brand Ambassador for COWE India; Sunitha, Singer; Lt. Col Pranjali Dhume; Meghana Reddy, Rhythmic Gymnast and P. Neelima, Mountaineer will grace as guests of honour and participate in the walk.

A woman's health is her total well-being, not determined solely by biological factors and reproduction, but also by effects of work load, nutrition, stress, war and migration, among others?
Women's health issues have attained higher international visibility and renewed political commitment in recent years. But, still lot more needs to be done. It is in this context that the COWE Walkathon is scheduled to create awareness for the same informed Ms. Girija, Chairperson of COWE Hyderabad Chapter.
According to Dr. Nandakishore Dukkipati, a practicing bariatric surgeon, he has been raising awareness against obesity pandemic and offering latest treatment methodology with the state of the art technology. He returned to India after 15years of global exposure to sever mother country.
