Tick fever disease is most prevalent in dogs and it is also a common disease which affects the overall health of your pet. When the dog infected by ticks is bitten, they release saliva which gets embedded inside the skin. The saliva has a protein that can actually trigger off an allergic response. When left untreated, the dog becomes too weak and there is noticeable loss of blood. Due to constant scratching, the skin might break leading to bleeding and leading to worst case scenario death.
