Ashray Akruti Children's Day Celebrations 2014, Hyderabad

This is WAVE - A forum for Social Change - Community Service and Charity.

WAVE – Women’s Organisation with Vision and Empowerment

WAVE is a ladies organisation commited to community service and charity. WAVE has 25 + members and every month is organised a community service event.
With a monthly donation from members, WAVE has helped NMJ cancer hospital for children, St. John orphanage and KMT destitute center for Ladies. Monthly events for charity are meticulously planned by Vibha Jain and Pratima Gupta and all members like Bina Mehta, Anju Jain, Shalini Modani, Bobita and others and even general items are also donated like fruits, sweets and grocery.

On 14th November, which is a children’s day, WAVE will celebrate it with Aashyra Akruti School for hearing disabled children by organising a Magic show and a dance programme for the children. One of wave member Bina Mehta teach dances Wave is also distributing goody bags to children and donating grocery and daily school items to Aashyra Akruti. The founder of the school is doing wonderful work to run this school for those who are incapacitated at hearing.

WAVE invites women who would like to be part of community service and charity, as a like mind ladies group WAVE will be organising many more such activities in coming months. WAVE is founded and managed by Wave members.

Ashray Akruti
Ashray Akruti is a registered nonprofit, non religious organization working for hearing impaired children from underprivileged backgrounds. Established in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh in 1996, Ashray Akruti runs a school with a residential facility for hearing impaired children. Ashray Akruti started with five children and now caters to the educational needs of 250 children. Since our inception in 1996, more than 150 hearing-impaired children have been integrated into mainstream schools, colleges and Universities. Hearing-impaired children from outside Hyderabad avail residential facilities provided by Ashray Akruti.

The children from different parts of India avail the services of the organization.
