Kalamandir presents Titans of Media 2014

Round Table India, in association with Kalamandir and Press Club of Hyderabad hosted an event to honor the continued support of the media in the society.

The event, held at Taj Vivanta, Begumpet , Hyderabad witnessed the presence of supporters like Mr.DeepakMenda - President Round Table India, Mr. Ravikanthreddy - President, Press Club Of Hyderabad, and prominent personalities from the journalism industry.

On the occasion, Deepak Menda, National President, Round Table India, said "Media is an important pillar to strengthen democracy and to bring about a positive change in the society.

Today we want thank everyone from the media fraternity for their contribution towards society" .he also gave a presentation to the guests and dignitaries about the works Round Table India, especially their Long Term Project "Freedom Through Education".

About Round Table India
Round Table India, an organization of non-political and non-sectarian young men between the age group of 18 and 40 strives to promote Service through Fellowship. It is through the fellowship of endearing young men that this organization has served the community for the last 55 years.

Today, Round Table India has spread its vast network across 80 cities and towns of India, with membership strength of over 3000 like minded professionals and entrepreneurs. Round Table is a global organization across 67 countries around the world with a strong network of 38,000 members.

Keeping in mind that the cycle of poverty begins and ends with illiteracy, Round Table India decided to focus all its energy through its established network to build infrastructure to create and refurbish primary schools by establishing processes, systems and providing educational tools in the hands of young aspiring India.

Thus in 1996 our long-term project "Freedom Through Education" was born.

Ever since Round Table India has successfully built over 4865 class rooms in over 1758 schools directly benefiting over 5 Million underprivileged children, by raising almost Rs.139crores through its various fundraising initiatives.
