Nandi Awards 2011 was given away to the much deserved award winners on the auspicious day of Ugadi. Bollywood super star Amitabh Bachchan received the prestigious NTR National Award from Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy. Kaikala Satyanarayana was honoured with Raghupathi Venkaiah award, producer Sai Korrapati won the B N Reddy award for his film ‘Eega’ in the category of Best wholesome entertainment. G Aadi Sheshagiri Rao of Padmalaya Studios received the Nagi Reddy and Chakrapani award and M S Narayana receives Allu Ramalingaih National award for ‘Dookudu’. While the NTR national award has a cash prize of Rs 5 lakhs, other awards have Ra 2 lakhs each.
