It’s the beginning of the summer of 2013 and Madhura Sridhar is back with yet another youthful entertainer for college buddies after proving his worth with his previous movies like ‘Sneha Geetam’ and ‘It’s My Love Story’. ‘Back Bench Student’ depicts the life of an average back bench student who day dreams about his future and the first among them is a beautiful girl in front bench being next to him. The filmmaker is trying to pass on a useful message to the youth audience. In his story ‘Back Bench Student’ he portrays how miserable the life of his hero would be with sixteen backlogs, bitter experience of break up with his girl friend and none to share the pain of his heart while all friends settle well in life. The concept of this film is how a dull student’s life is spoiled due to several distractions and immature love. And how he solves all his problems by himself and comes out as a winner is the film all about. The film has an interesting tagline “His break up + love story”.
Madhura Sridhar is introducing a new talent Mahat Raghavendra as a ‘Back Bench Student’ and he chose Piaa Bajpai and Archana Kavi as two leading ladies. He is very impressed with the performances of his artists and showered praises on their acting skills. Infact the entire cast and crew are very confident about the outcome of the film and eagerly waiting to see the audience’s response in theaters.
This being the story on college backdrop, the entire movie was shot in a college campus in Hyderabad. Songs sung by Tamil star Simbhu and ‘Kolaveri Di’ fame Anirudh Ravichandra are special packages to the film. Some rib tickling comedy entertainment is also expected from Brahmanandam as a back bench student and Ali as project manager Diwakar whose English is very poor. Other highlights include background score, cinematography, screenplay and performances of lead cast. Other artists in supporting roles are Vennela Rama Rao, Nikhita, Manikanta, Rudraksha, Benerji, Madhumati, Pragati, etc.
The movie is produced by Dr M V K Reddy on Shirdi Sai Combines with music by Sunil Kashyap and cinematography by Prasad G K. Dialogues are written by Lakshmi Bhupal, lyrics by Sirasri and the story & screenplay by Madhura Sridhar himself. Dharmendra Kakarala did the editing part. Multi-dimension Entertainments is going to present this youthful flick which is ready to hit the silver screen on March 15th. Producers are playing active role in film promotion. They have already received wonderful response for the music, trailers and stills on the internet, especially from the youth.
