‘Anando Brahma’, A True Blockbuster Of Small Budget Films In 2017

Got released as an underdog, Mahi V Raghav directed ‘Anando Brahma’ starring Taapsee Pannu, Srinivas Reddy, Vennela Kishore, Shakalaka Shankar and Thagubothu Ramesh is turning out to be a biggest hit of small budgeted films in 2017. ‘Anando Brahma’ was made on a shoe-string budget of Rs 2.90 crores, wherein it grossed 4.50 crores in first weekend in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana alone. The horror comedy movie is making far better trade in overseas where it minted $350 K (2.25 Cr).

Though collections were minimal for the morning show, sudden growth was witnessed from the very next show, thanks to unanimous enthusiastic reports from everywhere. It's not just normal movie goers, even critics lauded the film as a true entertainer. From class to mass, kids to old aged people and ladies everybody is enjoying the film to the fullest which is the major reason for the movie making waves in all the centers.

While lead actress Taapsee Pannu amazed with her charming looks, all the comedians provided adequate comedy to audiences from start to end. Good thing is director Mahi V Raghav gave importance to each and every character in the film. In fact, all the lead characters has a back story in the film.

As per trade analysts, ‘Anando Brahma’ is estimated to gross $600K in overseas and 25 Cr for full run in Telugu states. Do you have any doubts in calling this film a true blockbuster of small budget films in 2017.
