National award winning actress Priyamani and Deepak of ‘Sampangi’, ‘Premalo Pavani Kalyan’ and Arundhati’ fame have paired up for the film titled ‘Anguleeka’. Prem Aaryan is directing the film and Koti Thoomula and C H Rambabu are jointly producing the film under Sri Shankuchakra Films banner. The film was launched on December 5th.

Speaking about her role in the film Priyamani said, “The character I’m playing in this film is different and I’m playing it for the first time. Every heroine will have only two best films in her career. But when it comes to me, I’ve many award winning films on one side and my character in this film on the other side. This character will make me feel proud of myself. Like ‘Arundhati’ to Anushka, ‘Anguleeka’ will be for me. This is Prem Aryan’s directorial debut movie, yet he brilliantly designed my character. That’s the main reason why I agreed to do this film.”

Hero Deepak said, “So far I’ve done many films with lover-boy characters. I couldn’t concentrate on Telugu movies since I was busy with Hindi films. However, after a long gap I got a good role in Telugu, but definitely not a guest role like in ‘Arundathi’. The story of this film is based on 600 years ago. My character in this film has traits of Robinhood, which loves a princess. The presence of my character will be from start to end of the film. I consider myself lucky to do this role.”

Director Prem Aaryan said, “It’s a love story of two which is linked the story of 600 years ago. I worked as an assistant director for a Bollywood director Mani Shankar for two films and worked for 5 films in direction department in Telugu as well. Since I’m basically an architect as well as animator, I wanted to create a visual wonder through my very first film. Hence I chose this story.”

Producer C H Rambabu said, “We are planning to shoot this film from 1st week of January till March end and release the film by 1st week of April. We are planning to create a set in Tirupathi which takes the audience 600 years back.”

Kota Srinivasa Rao, Suman Shetty and Manju Bhargavi will play important roles in the film.

Shyam Prasan of ‘Vinayakudu’ fame will compose the music, dialogues are written by Gopi and Sudarshan B, sets will be designed by Venkatesh and fights by Dhalapati Dinesh.
