Malayalam actor Captain Raju suffers heart attack on flight
Prominent Malayalam actor Captain Raju was hospitalised following a heart attack on Monday i.e. on June 25. He is being treated at a KIMS hospital in Oman. When he was on is way to US, he suffered severe chest pain and uneasiness inside the flight. The flight has to make an emergency landing in Muscat and Captain Raju was rushed to the hospital in Oman.
Doctors diagnosed is was heart attack. He is currently recuperating at the hospital and he is being monitored by an expert team of doctors. Further details are awaited.
Before he entered into film industry, Captain Raju had served in the Indian army for five years. Captain Raju has acted in over 500 films, as a villain, a character artist, a comedian and as a hero. He also acted in Telugu, Tamil and even in English (Merchant-Ivory's Cotton Mary). He has also directed two films. Captain Raju's last film was Masterpiece released in 2017, where he played himself.
