Dil Raju is confident about Srinivasa Kalyanam
‘Srinivasa Kalyanam’ starring Nithin and Raashi Khanna in the lead roles, is all set to hit screens on August 9. Sathish Vegesna is the director. Dil Raju, Sirish and Lakshman are producers.
Confirming the release date, Dil Raju said, “Srinivasa Kalyanam is releasing on August 9 and this is the date on which ‘Bommarillu’ had released 12 years back in 2006 and it stood as landmark film for me. This is also Mahesh Babu’s birthday. Mahesh garu’s movie is also being made on our banner. We were very confident on the script and had fixed the release date when we started the film. We have canned a romantic song in the rain. We have seen many movies and songs accentuating marriage. People are wondering what’s new about this ‘Srinivasa Kalyanam’. I can confidently say that audience will get wonderful feel after watching the film.”
Revealing that there is his hand in the story of this film, Dil Raju said, “After Satamanam Bhavati’, Sathish Vegesna promised me that he will do a film highlighting marriage. In preparing the script, Sathish Vegesna and I discussed a lot and few of my real life incidents were also added in the story. The story of the film is very relatable to everyone. Audience made Bommarillu a super success. Even though, Satamanam Bhavati was released amidst tough competition, it turned out as blockbuster and became trendsetter. It is beyond doubt that Srinivasa Kalyanam will also become big success. The film will impress all sects of audience. Parents who are planning to make preparations for their children’s marriage will definitely take few tips from the story. Those who are waiting to get married will dream to have that kind of marriage we have shown in the film. After ‘Bommarillu’ and ‘Satamanam Bhavati’, ‘Srinivasa Kalyanam’ will stand out as yet another big hit film for our banner. Recently released songs have got very good response. Ashwini Dutt has released ‘Mahanati’ on the same day Chiranjeevi’s super hit film ‘Jagadekaveerudu Athiloka Sundari’ was released. It has created magic. I wish and hope the same magic will be repeated for this Srinivasa Kalyanam also.”
