Tamil thriller Agadam sets new Guinness World Record

Tamil movie ‘Agadam’ directed by a debutant Mohammad Issac has broke the record set by a Russian movie ‘Russian Ark’ shot in 1 hr 30 mins. Director Mohammad Issac shot 'Agadam’ in single shot in 2 hrs 3 mins and 30 secs and set a new Guinness World Record. What’s more interesting is the entire cast in this film is fresh. The film was produced by Mohammad Issac and Rasiyabi Mohammad under Last Bench Boys Productions.

‘Agadam’ is a non-stop utterly gripping, edge-of-the-seat thriller without any songs. With Notary Public Lawyer, film director Suresh and few others from film industry on site, single shot shooting of ‘Agadam’ for 2 hrs 3 mins and 30 secs was performed on December 7, 2012. ‘Agadam’ was declared the new ‘Guinness World Record’ and was awarded with the certificate by the head office of Guinness World Records in London, United Kingdom.

Director Mohammad Issac expressed his happiness and said that he’s incredibly proud to have this achievement included in the Guinness World Records book. At the time of 100 years celebrations of Indian Cinema, ‘Agadam’ has brought pride to India by winning ‘Guinness World Record' title. The certificate was displayed at its audio function held on May day. The film obtained U/A certificate and is expected to release shortly.
