Udaya Bhanu, who penned the song ‘Ganga Garuda’ along with her mother’s support and also crooned it, today confessed in a TV channel that the news about her joining politics is not true. ‘Ganga Garuda’ song is about AP politics and politicians. “One needn’t have to enter politics to do good to the society. Many have invited me into their parties even before I sang this song, but I straight away refused their offers. And I’m saying once again, I’m not interested in politics and will not join any time in life. This song is not to gain popularity to enter politics, but to fight anti-social elements, unable to see the injustice done to my fellow females. Just because I’m a celebrity, I don’t think my job is to always entertain people. I’ve every right to open up my heart to the public, know their problems and voice on behalf of them,” she said. About threat to her life Udaya Bhanu reacted, “I did a risky feat like jumping off from a helicopter for a small TV show. Since I’ve already seen death, I’m no more afraid of it.”
