Director’s Note…

We are finally here with the last plot/story of Chandamama Kathalu. Let me make one thing clear right in the beginning itself, that the story of Chandamama Kathalu is not about the Seven Stories or characters that we discussed earlier, but the story of Chandamama Kathalu is all about Saarathi, the writer and his 8 year old daughter. Saarathi is a Nandi award winning writer by profession & by passion and a single parent raising an 8 year old daughter, Kavya. It’s his story, his struggle, his fight and his triumph over all odds.

The seven stories we discussed earlier are a figment of Saarathi's imagination. He creates those seven stories from his basic understanding of life.

“Even the most beautiful fantasies ever imagined are born out of real life experiences.”

Don’t you think so? The entire story of Chandamama Kathalu is based on this statement. If you can crack this statement, you have cracked the screenplay of the film.

“Hope” is a powerful word; in fact it is a powerful statement!

Actor Kishore (Kannada) is familiar to us as an inspector in the film “Happy”, as a coach in the film “Bheemili Kabadi jattu” and in numerous negative roles but he is in to surprise you with his underplayed emotion’s in Chandamama Kathalu.

Also starring in the film are Lakshmi Manchu, Krishnudu, Naresh, Aamani, Chaitanya Krishna, Abhijeeth, Kishore, Naga Shourya, Richa Panai, Isha Ranganath, Shamili Soundarajan, Rishi, Prithvi Raj, Kondavalasa, Surekha Vani, Surya, Snigdha, Inturi Vasu, Naveen Neni and 50 other actors.
