Komaram Bheem, who was unwilling to tolerate the suppression of tribal, became warrior and fought against Nizam Government until his last breath. He gave the slogan of Jal, Jungle, Jameen (It means Water, Forest and Land). It means the people who live in forests should have rights on all the resources of the forest. So many next generation tribal people who live all over India have followed him. Allani Sridhar had made ‘Komaram Bheem’ film, which is based on tribal leader Komaram Bheem, with the intention to bring his campaign into limelight. Allani Sridhar, who won many awards and rewards for ‘Komaram Bheem’ film, is now planning to make the film in Hindi. At present, script work is in progress and cast and crew will be selected from the National School of Drama.

On this occasion, Allani Sridhar said, “The film deals with the problems faced by the tribes. We will also showcase their life style and status in the film. Our main intention is to introduce the great tribal hero ‘Komaram Bheem’ to all over India. The film which was made 20 years ago has now released and won many awards and rewards and celebrating 100days festival successfully.”

“When our state was in joint, ‘Komaram Bheem’ story was included in the social text book of 8th class. I’m going to receive the Girijyothi (Aadivaasi Mitra) award on Komaram Bheem’s death anniversary program on 8th of October at Ravindra Bharathi in Hyderabad. By now, Hindi audiences are encouraging bio pic films. The successful films like ‘Bag Milne Bag’ and ‘Mericome’ are the good examples. We hope the film will join the league. Dr. Daya Kishan Goyal is penning the script in Hindi. The film is being made under Film Media Corporation banner in our own direction,” he added.
