Manchu Vishnu was born in Chennai, Tamil Nadu state, India, on 23rd November 1981.
He is an Indian film actor, Educationist & Philanthropist, director and Film Producer, who is renowned in Telugu cinema for his work.
Vidya Devi Manchu and Mohan Babu gave birth to him. He has 2 siblings named Manchu Lakshmi and Manchu Manoj. He got married to Viranica Reddy. The couple has 4 children named Ariana Manchu and Viviana Manchu, Avram, Ayra Vidya Manchu.
He made his acting debut in 1985 as a child actor in his father's film Ragile Gundelu. He made his debut as a leading actor in 2003 in the Telugu film “Vishnu.'”
For his excellent acting on the silver screen for the film “Vishnu”, he received the Filmfare Best Male Debut award. He appeared as a leading hero in the number of Telugu films after his debut, such as Suryam, Political Rowdy(He played a cameo role in this film), Astrum, and Game.
However in 2007, he enjoyed the popularity of the film “Dhee” opposite Genelia D'Souza, in which he played the role of Srinivas "Babloo" Rao.
This film was announced at the box office as a success. Dhee remade as Khokababu in Bengali language, Tamil language as "Mirattal" and Tu mo girlfriend in the Oriya language.
He then starred in other romantic Telugu films, action and thriller genres such as Krishnarjuna, Saleem, Denikaina Ready, Pandavulu Pandavulu Tummeda, Anukshanam, Eedo Rakam Aado Rakam, and Gayatri after the film Dhee.
His wife Viranica Reddy is Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy's (Ex-CM ) niece.
He is the co-owner of the production company “24 Frames Factory”.
The comedy genre "Pandavulu Pandavulu Thummeda" was also produced under his production house.
His upcoming movie is Mosagallu, starring Kajal Aggarwal as leading actress.
He is also producing the upcoming film ‘Son of India’, his father Mohan Babu is the leading actor in this film.
