  • Malavika Singer Biography

     Malavika is an Indian playback singer who entered the Telugu music industry with a super hit song 'Nuvvu Nenu Kalisuntene' from Allu Arjun's debut movie 'Gangotri'. With more than 70 movies on her list, the young singer has worked with different musicians, singers, and directors.

    Childhood and singing:

    Malavika started singing at an early age and her mother trained her to learn the basics. She was trained by Kum Mandapaka Sarada in classical singing.

    Malavika also won the season's Etv's prestigious singing show Paadutha Teeyaga title as she was young. She was lauded by Late legendary singer SP Balasubrahmanyam who served as the main judge for the show.

    Malavika's hit songs:
    Telugu's chartbuster "Bommali" from Prabhas and Anushka starrer- 'Billa' gave her the much-needed attention. While she was heavily lauded for, "Holessa" from Sri Ramadasu, she also got attention for her singing in Balakrishna's Simha.

    Her songs in Ek Niranjan, Jhummandi Naadham, Soggade Chinni Nayana, Fidaa, and many other movies are super hits. Malavika is also seen in Television singing programs like Super Singer(Season-7, Season-8, and Season-9), Etv's most famous singing show- 'Swarabhishekam', and many more.

    Awards:
    Malavika has won the Nandi Award in the category of best playback singer- female in the year 2005-06.

    Highlights:
    Malavika was seen singing alongside Telugu's sensational actor Balakrishna Nandamuri in a fundraiser event titled 'Memu Saitham'. The song soon became viral and is still one of the most sensational episodes from the event.
