In today’s world, one actor who still has great passion for mythological themes is Nandamuri Balakrishna
. Right now he is doing his dream project, a mythological film titled ‘Sri Ramarajyam’ in which he is portraying the role of Sreerama. Accordingly the actor has removed his moustache so as to live vicariously in the role that he is playing. Removing his moustache has become news because he is well known for twirling his moustache and slapping his thigh.
Huge sets were constructed in Ramoji Film City to shoot the film. Already some part of the film was shot in RFC and the next schedule will again begin shortly in the same location. With Bapu directing the film, Yalamanchi Saibaba is producing it with music by Ilayaraja and story and dialogues by Mullapudi Venkata Ramana. While Akkineni Nageswara Rao will be seen as a Valmiki, Nayantara is playing the role of Seeta and Srikanth as Lakshmana.
