Manisha Koirala hospitalized after she falls unconscious

Actress Manisha Koirala, the beautiful Nepali woman who is well known to Telugu audience through films like ‘Criminal’ ‘Bombay’, Oke Okkadu’, was admitted to Mumbai’s Jaslok Hospital after she fell unconscious on Wednesday. Dr Suresh Advani is reportedly giving treatment to the actress. According to him, Manisha is undergoing few check-ups and she is responding well to the treatment. Buzz is that she has been diagnosed with cancer. However the hospital sources say that the doctors are refusing to disclose the exact nature of her illness. Friends and family are by her side hoping and praying for her quick recovery.

Politician Sushma Swaraj, who came to know about Manisha’s illness mentioned in twitter: I am deeply concerned about Manisha Koirala's health. Koirala family is very close to us. She is like a daughter to me. Pray she is well soon.

Manisha hails from a politically prominent Koirala family in Nepal. She married a Nepali Samrat Dahal in 2010, but broke up later. She entered into the the movie world with a Nepali film in 1989 and later made her debut in Bollywood with Subhash Ghai’s ‘Saudagar’, which turned out to be the biggest blockbuster of the year 1991. After that she continued her film journey by delivering several hits. Apart from Hindi, she also acted in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Bengali films. Manisha was last seen in Ram Gopal Varma’s ‘Bhoot Returns’. She is currently involved with a Malayalam film ‘Edavappathy’ which is under production.
