Music director Kamalakar, known for the timeless 'Nindu Noorella' song from 'Pranam', has composed music for films like 'Vaana'. Ahead of Christmas, the composer has come out with two gospel songs, titled 'Kamaneeyamaina' and 'Raaraju Puttadoi Maaraju Puttadoi'. Released on 'Passion For Christ - Joshua Shaik' YouTube channel, the songs are getting a very good response.
Speaking about the songs, Kamalakar has said that he has composed them to suit the occasion of Christmas. "What is unique about the first song is that it has been released in seven languages - Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Bengali, Malayalam, Gujarati and Kannada. Lyrics are by Joshua Shaik. Anvesha rendered in three languages. We chose the best singers for rendition across languages. Two days ago, the other song was released. Lyrics are, once again, by Joshua Shaik. Hari Charan rendered it. God is the ultimate hero. So, we have not compromised anywhere in giving the best shot. We made the songs during the pandemic and drew talents from Madurai and Kerala. The best violinist Deepak Pandit and internationally-acclaimed Sitar player Purbayan Chatterjee worked on the songs," Kamalakar said.
