Bellamkonda Sreenivas is all set to debut in Bollywood. He has chosen to reprise none other than Prabhas in the Hindi remake of SS Rajamouli's ‘Chatrapathi’. VV Vinayak, known for mass movies, is wielding the megaphone.

Produced by Dr. Jayantilal Gada of Pen Studios, the film will be an action entertainer. "Bellamkonda has been breaking YouTube records. His popularity has been growing since the release of his debut movie ‘Alludu Seenu’ in 2014. As for the producer, he has been a force behind many successful commercial ventures," the makers say.

The producer feels that ‘Chatrapathi’ is a great script that needs to be Bollywoodized. He also feels the remake will be the perfect launch for Bellamkonda in Hindi.

As for Vinayak, his 'Tagore', 'Aadhi' and 'Khaidi No. 150' have been big hits. "Many top directors like Rajamouli lauded VV Vinayak for his elevation of heroism in films," the producer says. It's a coincidence that the same director who helmed Bellamkonda's Telugu debut is now directing his Hindi debut as well.

Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas adds, “This is a perfect project for my big debut in Bollywood. Although, taking on a role that Prabhas’ did is a huge responsibility, but I am glad I did, as it’s a perfect script.”
