Writer Chinna Krishna on Sunday launched 'Vaikuntha Ekadasi Rojuna', his home production, in the rarest of rare auspicious muhurtham. The launch event was graced by his daughter, Urmila Devi, who lit the lamp. For the unversed, Chinni Krishna has previously written stories for 'Narasimha', 'Narasimha Naidu', 'Indra' and 'Gangotri', among others.

The film will be shot in Goa and Kashi. "The first half is set in Goa. The second half is set in Varanasi. I have worked on the script for five years. Besides writing its story, I have also penned its screenplay and dialogue. You will listen to never-seen-before dialogues in the movie. Nobody has ever touched a subject like this," Chinni Krishna said.

The film will likely go on the floors in December. A special set will be erected in Goa. Following the schedule, 60 percent of the film will be shot in Varanasi in a marathon schedule. The message-oriented project will be made in five languages, by three different directors.

If the Telugu and Kannada versions will have one set of lead pair, the Tamil and Malayalam versions will have a different set of pair. The Hindi version will feature the third set of hero and heroine.

The cinematography is by Venkata Prasad. The film is produced by Chinni Krishna and Akula Chiranjeevi.
