Urvasi OTT encourages talent

 It has been 100 days since Urvasi OTT was released on the hands of director VV Vinayak and 'Baahubali' writer Vijayendra Prasad. Since its launch, the new OTT platform has catered to the rich tastes of its patrons from across the world.

Speaking about it, CEO Rama Sathyanarayana said, "We have won the hearts of 40 lakh viewers in the shortest time. In order to make OTT accessible to small producers, we have not been charging uploading fees. Through our sister concern Sandhya Studio, we are also extending post-production support and the like. We are allowing producers to sell their films/web series to whoever they want. OTT is a gift for small-budget films."

Urvasi OTT MD Ravi Kanagala said, "We are going to expand Urvasi in Tamil and Kannada. We have posted our representatives in Chennai and Bengaluru. We will also launch Hindi and Malayalam segments, too."

In the past 100 days, 25 new films ahve come from Urvasi OTT. Miss Leelavathi, Kala, Samantha and Bala Mitra are some of the films. Twenty more films belonging to various genres are on the anvil.
