'Ikshu' was Padmaja Film Factory's most recent movie. It was the banner's maiden production. The director of that movie, VV Rushika, has joined hands once again with producer Hanumanth Rao Naidu. The project was launched today at Annapurna Studios. The Muhurtham event was graced gy 'MLA' fame director Upendra, producer DS Rao and others.
Speaking on the occasion, Co-Producer Sai Karthik said, "We are happy to launch the movie today. This is our second outing. 'Ikshu', our first movie, is all set to be released soon. Coming to our second project, it tells the story of a set of middle-class individuals. A father and his son are the prime protagonists. The regular shoot will commence after Dasara."
The makers have chosen VV Rushika since they loved her work on 'Ikshu'. The director said that there are only a handful of female directors in the movie industry. "I thank producer Hanumanth Rao garu on this occasion. We will be selecting the rest of the cast and crew soon. Emotions, comedy and other elements will be rich in our movie," she added.
Ram Agnivesh is headlining the project and it is his second movie as a producer.
