Chiranjeevi, Mahesh Babu condole Narayan Das Narang's passing away

Narayan Das Narang (76) is no more. The iconic financier, producer and exhibitor, who is known as the Asian Cinemas founder passed away earlier today battling various illnesses. He was being treated by a team of experts at Banjara Hills' STAR Hospitals.

As a financier of repute, Narang acquired an image of being reliable ever since the 1980s. He financed 100s of films even as he rose in the field of film exhibition in the 2000s.

Several Telugu film industries are paying rich tributes through condolence messages. Megastar Chiranjeevi described Narang as a renowned industry personality who was known for discipline and commitment. His partner Mahesh Babu wrote, "Shocked and saddened by the demise of #NarayanDasNarang garu. A prolific figure in our film industry.. his absence will be deeply felt. A privilege to have known and worked with him."

Narang's last rites will be held on Tuesday evening at Film Nagar's Maha Prasthanam.
