'Bro' is going to have a long run at the box-office: Makers

The success meet of 'Bro' was held today in Hyderabad. Speaking on the occasion, director Samuthirakani was brief and effective. He said that now is the time for the audience to speak.

Sai Dharam Tej said that Samuthirakani's talent can't be measured by words. "He started out as a small artist and today, he has made a film with a superstar like Pawan Kalyan garu. Thaman's background score is being embraced by the audience," the 'Virupaksha' actor said.

'Baby' and 'Taxiwala' producer SKN graced the occasion as a guest. He suggested that the impact of the film on him and his dear ones has been strong. "A few films are entertaining and a few others are message-oriented. But this film has got both in ample measure," SKN said.

Director Maruthi said that he was stunned watching the vintage Pawan on the big screen. He described every frame as an amazing experience.

'Kartikeya 2' director Chandu Mondeti urged Samuthirakani to make a film like 'Bro' every now and then. "This film made me so emotional. Usually, I am not someone who gets emotional after watching a movie," the director said.

'Waltair Veerayya' director Bobby Kolli said that 'Bro' is the kind of film that prods us not to be selfish.

'Veera Simha Reddy' maker Gopichand Malineni said, "Samuthirakani's thoughts are as pure as his soul. His purity is what made him make a film like 'Bro', which is rich in message."

'30 Years Industry' Prudhviraj said that he has previously acted alongside Pawan in 'Atharintiki Daaredi', 'Katamarayudu', and 'Gabbar Singh'. 'Bro', he said, is his fourth outing with the actor-politician.

Lyricist Kasarla Shyam said that Pawan has grown from being Chiru's brother to being a Power Star and now the leader of the Jana Sena Party.

Producer TG Vishwa Prasad is proud of the fact that 'Bro' happens to be the 25th movie of his banner, People Media Factory. He profusely thanked Trivikram for penning the film's dialogue and screenplay.

Executive Producer Vivek Kuchibhotla said that 'Bro' is expected to enjoy a long run at the box-office since family audiences are in love with it. He attributed the team's ability to complete the film in 53 working days to Pawan's cooperation.

Zee Studios' Nimmakayala Prasad said that the film is a combination of hero moments and message.

SS Thaman described Samuthirakani as the son of the soil. He also expressed his delight over composing music for four movies starring Pawan Kalyan: 'Vakeel Saab', 'Bheemla Nayak', 'Bro' and 'OG'.

The distributor from Ceded and also those from Andhra (especially the Coastal districts where the movie has been running to packed houses) made it to the event. It was revealed that, on Sunday, the fantasy comedy amassed a distributor share of Rs 4.6 Cr in Vizag despite incessant rains.
