Venkatesh Maha now targets actors!

'Care Of Kancharapalem' director Venkatesh Maha has been the most-trolled Tollywood director in recent times after his recent outburst against 'KGF'. And, in his latest interview, he has targeted even actors although he is just starting out as an artist.

He has done a lead role in the anthology 'Anger Tales' (Disney Plus Hotstar), to be streamed from March 9. Maha revealed that he wanted to do the greasepaint because there is a dearth of "responsible and versatile actors" these days. He suggested that some actors do villagers' roles without ever having been to a village.

Maha further remarked, "My initial taste was to become an actor.
I somehow couldn't and became a director. I feel, of late, there is a lack of versatile acting talent. Everyone wants to become a Megastar."

The 'Uma Maheshwara Ugra Roopasya' maker seems to be a man of many talents. He mocks commercial cinema, laughs at audiences who watch 'KGF' type movies, and now wants to serve society by saving the audience from irresponsible actors. Telugu audiences are so fortunate to live in the times he is living in.
