Rashmika is smarter than Keerthy Suresh, Samantha!

Rashmika Mandanna is doing two female-centric films currently. One is 'Rainbow', a Telugu-Tamil bilingual. The other one is 'The Girlfriend', directed by Rahul Ravindran and presented by Allu Aravind.

Superstar heroines doing non-hero movies are rare in India. Anushka Shetty and Nayanthara have become bigger stars thanks to their ability to do non-hero movies with ability.

Keerthy Suresh, after 'Mahanati', made poor choices and spoilt the opportunity of becoming another Anushka. 'Penguin' and 'Miss India' were disastrous in terms of content. Had they been theatrical releases, Keerthy would have faced bigger shocks. 'Good Luck Sakhi', which was another Keerthy-centric movie, flopped heavily. It didn't receive event decent openings in theatres.

Samantha did score a hit with 'Oh Baby' but 'U-Turn', 'Yashoda' and 'Shaakuntalam' were poor in terms of content. Two of them were remakes/adaptations, while the third one was an illogical survival thriller with absurd scenes. And 'Shaakuntalam' ended any hope of Sam being a dependable actress for non-hero movies.

Unlike the 'Sarkaru Vaari Paata' actress and the 'Kushi' actress, Rashmika didn't opt for any and every female-centric movie that came her way. She has balanced an 'Animal' and a 'Pushpa 2' with female-centric movies. While one doesn't know the fate of 'Rainbow' and 'The Girlfriend', at least, Rashmika is not relying heavily on them to enter the next league.
