Earlier this week, actor-composer Vijay Antony lost his daughter Meera (16), who died by suicide. The 'Bichagadu' actor took to social media and put out a heart-rending message.

The 'Hatya' actor described his late daughter as a loving and brave girl. "She is now in a place where caste, creed, money, jealousy, pain, poverty and animosity are unknown," Antony wrote, musing with a philosophical bent of mind.

The most personal part of the open letter began later. "She is still talking with me. I have died with her," he wrote, adding that he has started spending time for his daughter. "I will now do good things on her behalf and on her name," Antony wrote, hinting that he will be undertaking charity works in fond memory of his beloved daughter.

In another development, sections of the media have been flayed by celebs such as Chinmayi Sripada for resorting to sensationalism while reporting about Meera's demise.
