Actress Nabha Natesh has been saddened over the dastardly terror strike in Pahalgam, a place in Kashmir where she filmed for some portions in Darling, her comeback release in 2024.
"Pahalgam is a beautiful place. We filmed in stunning locations spread over 5 kilometers," the iSmart Shankar actor said, describing the attack as heinous. Darling was fronted by her alongside Priyadarshi.
Expressing her heartfelt condolences to the families of the 26 victims, she feared excessive caution. "After this, the filmmakers might hesitate to go to Pahalgam. The local people were very kind, and they became good friends of our team. When I heard about the attack, all the memories of shooting there came rushing back," the actress wrote.
Nabha fondly remembers Pahalgam's past serenity while expressing sorrow over the recent bloodshed in the beautiful location where she filmed her solo song about an independent woman traveling India. During the week-long Kashmir shoot, she found the local community supportive, with many visiting the sets and trying to communicate with her.
Back in 2022, Nabha met with an accident that necessitated multiple shoulder surgeries. "I got into a bad accident, where my left shoulder sustained multiple bone fractures and had to undergo repeated complicated surgeries. I went through unimaginable physical and emotional pain. Recuperating from the injury and taking a back seat from films, something I love the most was not easy," she wrote on Instagram back in June 2023.
