Netizens pull out Rajamouli's comment on Pawan Kalyan's 'double meaning' song

Back in 2010, a Pawan Kalyan fan asked SS Rajamouli to desist from teaming up with his favourite star because his movies "don't feature double meaning songs, violence and skin show". At that time, Rajamouli used to occasionally reply to social media users. Replying to the PSPK fan, the Magadheera director sarcastically asked him if Chedugudante Bhayyam from Bangaram was a devotional song.

Composed by Vidyasagar and written by Sahithi, the item song's lyrics were full of double entendres. "Maybe you are right, brother. By the way, did you listen to the song from Bangaram? Is it a devotional song?" the Baahubali director asked, ending his tweet with a smiley emoji.

Netizens have pulled out this 15-year-old tweet of SS Rajamouli. Many believe that the director hasn't been fond of Pawan Kalyan for whatever reason. The duo, for their part, have expressed admiration for each other on a couple of occasions. Pawan Kalyan praised Rajamouli when Baahubali 2 became Tollywood's first-ever Rs 1000 Cr movie.
