National media reports have stated that Trisha Krishnan has received bomb threats. The BJP office in Chennai has also received bomb threats.
"Bomb squads and police conducted searches at multiple high-profile locations, including Tamil Nadu CM M.K. Stalin’s residence, actress Trisha’s home, BJP state office, Raj Bhavan, and SV Shekhar’s residence, following anonymous email threats," News 18 has reported.
Trisha is currently doing a few big-ticket movies. Chiranjeevi's Vishwambhara is one of them. The film, directed by Bimbisara fame Vassisht, will release in July this year. She was recently seen in Thug Life, starring Kamal Haasan in the lead. It was directed by Mani Ratnam. Trisha was also seen in Vidaa Muyaarchi, starring Ajith in the lead, earlier this year.
