Cinematographer Anend C. Chandran is weaving masterful visuals for Vijay Deverakonda's Rowdy Janardhana, which is currently being filmed. As the Director of Photography turned a year older today, producers Dil Raju and Shirish Reddy shared a birthday poster as a tribute to this talent.
With Sri Venkateswara Creations bankrolling the rustic action drama on a grand scale, Chandran is leaving no stone unturned to deliver the best possible visuals. Having worked on films as diverse as Bheeshma Parvam and Premam in Malayalam, he brings extensive experience to the table. "His diversity has been on display over the years. His work on films like Helen, Anandam, Gold and Chhatha Paccha has been critically applauded. He is producing inventive camera angles for the VD-Keerthy Suresh movie under the aegis of writer-director Ravi Kiran Kola," a source says. The film, to be released in theatres in December this year, has production design by Dino Shankar.
He has primarily worked in Mollywood. He often handles color grading for his own projects (such as Premam and Gold). This allows him to maintain strict creative control over the final "look" of the film.
The Title Glimpse of Rowdy Janardhana was unveiled in December 2025. Vijay Deverakonda will be uttering his lines in the East Godavari dialect in the movie. He recently got married to Rashmika Mandanna.
