"Biker has brought many changes into my life. We promised we would make a film that India would be proud of. And we did. This is a film that Telugu cinema can proudly claim. I proudly say this is my best film," said Sharwanand, speaking at the first presser post the release of his motocross movie. Biker, co-starring Dr Rajasekhar and Malvika Nair, was released in theatres with Thursday evening premieres.
He praised the movie's producers, Vamsi and Pramod. "To make films like this, a producer must have taste and passion. Thank you to Vamsi anna for producing this film so wonderfully. The story narrated by our director Abhilash Reddy inspired me a lot. That inspiration is what led me to transform myself and lose weight. I lost nearly 22 kg for this character," Sharwa added.
He particularly praised the racing sequences. "They are amazing thanks to action master Dileep Subbarayan. To execute such scenes, vision and experience are essential. Our cinematographers J Yuvaraj and Madhie delivered stunning visuals. Ghibran’s music is still echoing in my ears," the Nari Nari Naduma Murari star said, also appreciating editor Anil.
He then spoke of the emotional highlight of Biker. "Our film has a sports drama element along with strong father-son emotion. It is a pure family film. Family audiences have always believed in me. I request everyone to please watch this film with your children. This is a must-watch film. It is a very genuine film. If you watch it, you will appreciate that we made a good film," Sharwa added.
Director Abhilash Reddy Kankara said that the final 40 minutes are particularly exciting for the audience. "Everyone is especially talking about the climax scenes. Even children are feeling tense while watching the racing sequences. So, as a director, I feel I have achieved what I intended. People are saying the last 40 minutes are fantastic, and that is exactly the drama we designed," the filmmaker added.
