Bad Boy Karthik, starring Naga Shaurya in the lead, held its trailer launch event today. Described as an "out-and-out" action entertainer, the film will now hit the cinemas on April 17.
Speaking on the occasion, the hero began his speech by thanking the producers of the film. "They have been perseverant. I sincerely wish them success. Ever since I became a fan of the songs from Orange (the Ram Charan movie), I have wanted to work with music director Harris Jayaraj. Finally, I got the opportunity. Cinematographer Rasool Ellore has presented him so well. I watched Prabhas garu's first movie, Eeswar, as a child. I really liked Sridevi Vijaykumar ma'am in it. She has a prominent role in our movie," the actor shared, mentioning also the film's rest of the cast such as Sai Kumar, Vennela Kishore and Samuthirakani in his speech.
Producer Srinivasa Rao Chintalapudi said, "This is my first movie. I am really excited. I am proud to announce the release date. ZEE5 acquired the OTT rights and then Z Studios offered to distribute the movie in theatres. Every artist and technician extended their fullest cooperation." He surprised everyone by apologizing to Naga Shaurya for delayed release. Rao exuded confidence in Bad Boy Karthik becoming another Chalo in the actor's career. The makers highlighted Sridevi's "rocking" performance in the movie.
