The makers of AA22 x A6 have unveiled their movie's title. The 22nd film of Allu Arjun will henceforth be referred to as Raaka. The sci-fi action entertainer, to be released in theatres most likely in the second half of 2027, will be released in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Bengali, and Arabic. "Prepare yourself for a vision beyond limits," Sun Picture wrote, sharing the poster.
The title poster, released today marking Bunny's birthday, features a curated close-up of the hero with a shaved head. Since he is playing a mass-y role in this Atlee directorial, we see a sharp and piercing gaze straight at the viewer. His face is partially obscured in a very menacing way.
The poster has a 'hatke' quality. A high-concept sci-fi action spectacle with strong fantasy/mythological and epic adventure elements is what we expect from this ambitious project, which has been shot on sets in Mumbai. Atlee specializes in commercial entertainers packed with stylish set-pieces, crowd-pleasing heroism, and family/emotional drama.
Raaka stars Deepika Padukone in a pivotal role. Sai Abhyankar is the music director.
