A scam is behind Allu Arjun's 'personality rights' safeguard

After Megastar Chiranjeevi, Pawan Kalyan, Jr NTR, Nagarjuna and a few others (including Salman Khan and Mohanlal), here is Allu Arjun getting a court injunction protecting his personality rights.

Unlike in the case of others, it has been necessitated by an immediate, specific scam. An App called Fake Call Pushpa was floated by someone recently. "The app enables an individual to speak to the actor's AI generated likeness. The App can be used by anyone in any scam involving the actor as it uses a video calling feature involving his face," wrote Live Law, reporting on the issue.

Allu Arjun has been in the news on repeat this month. On April 8, the title poster of Raaka was released. A few days later, news reports spoke of the rescheduling of an international Raaka schedule in view of the ongoing war involving Iran and other countries.
