Actor Vijay Deverakonda's movie with Hi Nanna maker Shouryuv was formally launched today in the presence of Natural Star Nani, the director's first hero.
The director is touched by Nani's presence. "Some moments stay with you forever…Having Nani garu there for this one is something I will always carry with me. It’s begun today. Now, just wait and witness… Vijay garu will become the ROAR. Cannot wait to hit the floors. This movie is special," he added.
The project, which is yet to get a title, is one of the three most major globally ambitious movies currently being made with Telugu stars as heroes: Mahesh Babu's Varanasi and Allu Arjun's Raaka. "The film is set against a mythological universe backdrop. It aims to present audiences with an entirely new world," the makers added. For Vijay, this is a first, a glorious first at that.
Vyra Entertainments is producing the project. Producers Mohan Cherukuri (CVM) and Dr. Vijender Reddy Teegala have assembled a talented technical team. With music by Hesham Abdul Wahab, the film has cinematography by Alejandro Martínez of Hollywood. Production Design is by Suresh Selvarajan. VFX supervision is by the internationally renowned Eric Durst. Edited by Praveen Antony, the film has costumes designed by Sachin Lovalekar.
