The rumour is true. The box-office failure of War 2 did force a rethink of Dragon. Director Prashanth Neel and actor Jr NTR went back to the drawing room to revise the story a bit after the unexpected underperformance of the Bollywood spy thriller in which the actor shared screen space with Hrithik Roshan.
Speaking in his latest interview, producer Cherry, who has been closely associated with Mythri Movie Makers, stated that Neel has been working at a fast pace after the review of the story. The film is on track to hit the cinemas on 11 June 2027.
On May 20 this year, marking Jr NTR's birthday, a special glimpse will be released. It will formally announce the film's title as Dragon.
Co-starring Rukmini Vasanth, Dragon has music by Ravi Basrur. The KGF and Salaar director is leaving no stone unturned to make it a huge project. The rumour is that it will be a two-part series.
