With Chennai Love Story grossing Rs 50 Cr at the box office, producers SKN and Sai Rajesh on Saturday hosted a celebratory event. On the occasion, the entire team profusely thanked the audience.

Co-Producer Dheeraj Mogilineni said that the success of CLS, despite BO competition, energizes tasteful movies that are going to be made. He spoke of his rapport with Kiran Abbavaram, describing him as "gold", further appreciating him for standing as a pillar of support. He expressed his desire to make a massy Rayalaseema-set movie in which Kiran plays a powerful person from the Reddy community. "Sri Gouri Priya has been so acclaimed that characters will be written with her in mind after CLS. Director Ravi Namburi dedicated himself to this project for two years. Literally, he poured his sweat and blood into the project. Sai Rajesh's story is why CLS' story has been liked by everyone. He can write heart-touching stories like only a few," Dheeraj said, further appreciating SKN for the inventive publicity. "SKN proved all the detractors and negative comments wrong. He hasn't slept in days," Dheeraj shared.

Producer SKN thanked the audience for giving them a reason to feel proud about themselves. He particularly mentioned Sai Rajesh, with whom he has scored his first big hit since Baby. "CLS is Kiran's biggest hit ever. And it has happened in just eight days. Gouri Priya is so talented, and she totally deserves to scale new heights. The general audience have done the maximum number of Reels, many of which have gone viral. They have done free marketing for our movie. It makes us happy that our movie has reached a wide section organically across territories," SKN shared, adding that exhibitors are confident that CLS will have a good run in theatres until Independence Day.

Gouri Priya said that the reception has been overwhelming. "We are grateful. Many audience members are watching our movie on repeat. I congratulate debutant filmmaker Ravi on scoring a Rs 50 Cr blockbuster with his very first movie," the actress added.

Kiran attributed the success to the drive and passion exhibited by SKN, Sai Rajesh, and Dheeraj. "The family audience are enjoying CLS the most. During our tours, we urged the family audience to watch the movie. We are glad to note that they constitute 70% of our audience base across territories. The houseful shows are thanks to them. We couldn't have asked for more. As for the Reels, they are a flood. Some of them are being done in graveyards (laughs)," the K-Ramp and KA star shared.
