Producer Naga Vamsi is backing what is being called the costliest Telugu web series yet. The project brings together Siddhu Jonnalagadda, Meenakshi Chaudhary and director Venky Atluri. All three are making their digital debut with this show, and the series is being backed by Sithara Entertainments.
In his latest interview, producer S Naga Vamsi confirmed that it is not only going to be a big-budget spectacle but will also be the costliest Telugu series ever. Since the hero is known for commercial hits (read DJ Tillu and Tillu Square), the production house is intent on a big scale.
A bank heist thriller, this one is currently on the floors. Netflix will stream it next year.
Siddhu didn't plan to make his OTT debut until his recent failures, namely, Jack and Telusu Kada. On the film front, he is currently doing Badass and a film with Agent Sai Srinivas Athreya fame Swaroop RSJ. Meenakshi has done Anaganaga Oka Raju this year. She is currently part of Naga Chaitanya's Vrushakarma. Director Venky Atluri awaits the theatrical release of Vishwanath And Sons on August 14.
