Tortoise is the title of actor Raj Tarun's new project. The film's first-look poster shows the lead man covered in blood and seated next to a corpse with a knife resting nearby. This sinister imagery hints at a dark, unconventional role. For the Uyyala Jampala and Cinema Chupista Maava actor, who has mostly acted in youthful entertainers, this one is a clear shift.
Co-starring Amrutha Chowdary, Avasarala Srinivas (who recently teased the protagonist as a sleepwalker), Dhanya Balakrishna (Nenu Sailaja fame), Shiju AR, Ravi Kale, and Moin, Tortoise is written and directed by Rithwik Kumar.
Bankrolled by Vijai Chowdary, Sasidhar Nalla, and Ramisetti Rambabu, the suspenseful drama is currently in the making.
Tortoise, whose release date is yet to be made official, features action sequences designed by Bemanollu Srikanth, with choreography handled by Raj Krishna and Venkatesh Kapu. Devara Madhukar serves as the art director, while Gullapalli Madhav Kumar oversees the editing. The visuals are captured by cinematographer Shabari Viknesh, with an original score composed by Anup Rubens (Manam fame).
