Mohan Babu is currently doing Nani's The Paradise. This is his first major pan-Indian outing. Lately, he is planning to make a thorough comeback in cinema.
He has accepted an important role in Srinivasa Mangapuram, directed by RX 100 fame Ajay Bhupathi. Since he is essaying the heroine's father in this romantic action drama, the audience expect him to drive the story in the second half. Raveena Tandon’s daughter, Rasha Thadani, is the female lead. Jaya Krishna, grandson of Superstar Krishna and son of the late Ramesh Babu, is its debut hero.
The Paradise (to be released in theatres on August 21) and Srinivasa Mangapuram should ideally propel Mohan Babu into the forefront. "Playing an antagonist is always exciting for me. This is the most brutal role in my career. Odela's vision is raw and gripping. This one’s built to hit hard," he wrote last year on X, talking about his role in the Nani-Srikanth Odela movie. He was seen as an angry Rishi in Manchu Vishnu's Kannappa last year.
