The teaser for Band Melam was released today at an event. Ahead of the movie's release on March 13, producers Kavya and Shravya have set the tone well in advance. Director Sathish Javvadi has cast Sai Kumar as heroine Sridevi's father. Harsh Roshan is the male lead.

Speaking on the occasion, actor Sivaji described Band Melam as a "beautiful love story". He described the lead pair as gifted talents. The senior actor further revealed that he was approached for a pivotal part but he declined it because that would have made it look like the Court trio was back.

Composer Thaman said that Kona Venkat's support was crucial to his career in early days. Mahesh Babu's Dookudu came his way only because of Kona. "When his gut says something, it means something. If he is confident about content, it has to be a hit. Seeing Harsh Roshan and Sridevi, I am reminded of the fresh pairs in the early 2000s in hits like Nuvve Kavali. They make for a beautiful pair, as Court made it clear," the composer said.

Kona Venkat said that Band Melam features a remarkably fresh conflict, culminating in a climax that is sure to woo audiences. "The script's impact was so strong it left veteran actor Sai Kumar stunned, while Vijai Bulganin has elevated the narrative with a truly wonderful score," he added. He suggested that Band Melam gave him the feel that Ninnu Kori had when Shiva Nirvana narrated it to him for the first time.

Director Nandini Reddy praised the chemistry between Harsh Roshan and Sridevi, noting they have already connected with the audience. Reflecting on her twenty-year bond with Kona Venkat, she expressed her hope that he continues his streak of success and his mission of "introducing new talent to the industry." Ninni Kori fame Shiva Nirvana described Kona Venkat as his "godfather" and a vital gateway for new filmmakers. He predicted a bright future for the lead actors, adding that the teaser was so compelling it made him want to "go to the theater with a group to watch the film." Venu Udugula highlighted the film’s authenticity, stating it transcends mere commercial interests. He remarked that the movie was "made with love and sincerity," effectively capturing the essence of Telangana soil and the story's deep philosophical roots.

Harsh Roshan described the film as a "village love story set against a pure Telangana backdrop," noting that his role explores a full spectrum of intense emotions. He expressed confidence that the movie would connect with everyone and invited audiences to theaters. Sridevi shared her hopes that the teaser resonated with viewers. Recalling the warmth they received for Court, she asked fans to "extend the same love and encouragement" to Band Melam when it arrives in cinemas on March 13.
