After Nari Nari Naduma Murari, Sharwanand is shifting gears in tandem with director Sampath Nandi. Bhogi is a gritty, large-scale period drama set against the rugged North Telangana–Maharashtra border. The story takes place in the late 1960s.

On Wednesday, the makers unveiled the first look poster in which the Biker actor is seen in an intense avatar. "They asked for blood…They'll drown in it," Sri Sathya Sai Arts wrote on X.

The film will head to theatres on August 28, just a week after Nani's The Paradise. The film will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi to coincide with the auspicious festival of Raksha Bandhan.

The production is currently in full swing in Hyderabad, where a massive set has been erected for a series of high-stakes action sequences. Stunt master Dilip Subbarayan is choreographing two major episodes designed to showcase the Shatamanam Bhavati actor in a rugged new light. Joining him are leading ladies Anupama Parameswaran and Dimple Hayathi. Production designer Kiran Kumar Manne and cinematographer Kishore Kumar Arokia are on board, while Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu composer Bheems Ceciroleo is providing the tunes.

Produced by KK Radhamohan under the Sri Sathya Sai Arts banner, the makers have locked in a massive theatrical rollout.
