On Tuesday, as Natural Star Nani turned a year older, as many as 30 film producers personally greeted him at his office in Hyderabad. This, as per a film observer, is proof that Nani's high stature is irrefutable.
Nani himself hasn't taken stardom too seriously. However, after the pandemic, a series of near-perfect moves by him have fetched him a certain elevated status. Court, a film he bankrolled, wouldn't have secured excellent openings had someone else produced it. Dasara logged massive openings, rewarding his attempts at becoming a mass hero. Hi Nanna would have been seen as illogical had its treatment not been powered by Nani's performance. He has insisted that his only job is to give 100% to a script. Stardom is simply a "process" that happens automatically if the films are good.
Nani has explicitly stated, "I am not in the race for stardom" and does not believe in the "number game." He views himself as an actor who chooses films based on his personal excitement for the script.
Nani will be seen in The Paradise this year (August 21) and in Sujeeth's Bloody Romeo next.
