Dancer Baba Jackson, a contestant on Romania's Got Talent, has alleged that the viral hook step in the song Aaya Sher from Nani's The Paradise is a direct copy of his original choreography. Jackson shared side-by-side videos on Instagram, comparing his 2024 dance reel to Nani's performance in the track composed by Anirudh Ravichander. The song, choreographed by Sudhan, features energetic mass steps that have thrilled fans but sparked debate.
While some supporters agree with Jackson's claim, Nani's fans defend the originality. The film's team, including director Srikanth Odela, has yet to respond.
The Paradise is scheduled to hit the cinemas on August 21. Co-starring Kayadu Lohar, Sonali Kulkarni, Sampoornesh Babu and others, the period-based action drama film is written by Thota Srinivas, Madhava Murthy Bojanapu, Arjuna Paturi, Vamshi Krishna Pinnika, Vasanth Masadi, Manupati Karunakar (Karna). Produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri of SLV Cinemas, the cinematography is by CH Sai.
